Palisades Tahoe and Northstar California have both introduced reservation-based parking programs. Both programs involve a mix of free and paid parking reservations aimed at improving the guest experience and minimizing traffic and congestion impacts on our local community over weekends and holidays.
The water level of Lake Tahoe is expected to be low this year. If you have rented a house with a pier and you are planning on bringing your boat or renting one, please call or email our office to confirm access to your pier. Buoys are accessible by a small watercraft, however pick-up locations for your group may change, based on the water depth at the pier of your specific vacation rental home. There are a variety of public deep-water piers for loading and unloading. We are here to assist in planning so that you face minimal disruptions during your stay.

Due to surrounding wildfires, smoke has been coming in and out of the area with the wind. Our immediate area is not in danger, however smoke comes and goes, changing air clarity throughout the day. We may see haze in the morning and blue skies just hours later, depending on how the winds shift.There is a promising outlook for clearing smoke in the coming days but there are a lot of variables that can alter the final outcome.
