This annual Squaw Valley event celebrates Oktoberfest with traditional Bavarian music and folk dancers, a benefit beer garden, brats, kraut, pretzels, and “Oktobergames" (think stein-holding, keg-rolling, and bratwurst toss). And let's not forget the yodeling! All entertainment at the event is free. Admission is free. First beer is $10 and includes a festival beer glass. Additional beers are $5. The event is pet friendly (bring your dogs) and family-oriented (dancing for the kids) and runs 2pm-6pm. Proceeds benefit local youth sports.
