A pier entitlement is being offered for sale. The existing pier, located in Carnelian Bay, will be removed and banked with the TRPA by the owner (at owner’s cost), and then transferred to the receiving property for a fee. The purchase price is for the entitlement only. Pier construction and permitting (including required approvals for the pier transfer) shall be at Buyer's cost. Prospective buyers shall independently verify the eligibility of their property to receive the pier. Any offers must include receiving property address and explanation of why this property is eligible to receive the pier in accordance with TRPA requirements for pier transfers. It is strongly advised that any prospective buyer engage the services of an experienced Tahoe-based land-use consultant or attorney to advise on the process and the receiving property's eligibility. Pier entitlement transfer is subject to review and approval by TRPA. All offers will be assessed on price, terms, and the likelihood that the property will be eligible to receive the pier transfer. Offers will be reviewed starting on April 30, 2022. Bidding will start at $1,000,000. Buyer's broker (if applicable) to be compensated by Buyer.
