Situated near the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Carnelian Bay, the location of The Art House is one of its finest features. Immersed by towering pines and Aspen trees, you will feel a wave of serenity wash over you as you enjoy breakfast on the large upper deck, or ground-level stone patio, as the morning sun rises and the stillness of your surroundings embrace you. Inside, the three levels provide the perfect opportunity for entertainment. The entry level is ideal for festive gatherings, with an open floor plan and French doors that invite the outdoors inside. Converse late into the evening with friends and family, while dancing orange embers cast a glow onto the moonlit windows from the wood-burning fireplace. When a family member desires to retire early, the top level master bedroom allows for a perfect retreat.   • Please Be Advised: Many highways, access roads and/or driveways are steep in Tahoe/Truckee and may be icy in the winter. To ensure your safety, it is critical that during November 1st - April 30th your brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires need to be properly inflated and the tread must be in excellent condition. Always carry tire chains, even if driving an AWD/4WD vehicle. Make sure the chains are the proper size for your tires and are in working order. Payment Terms

  • Minimum Night Requirements vary by property, season and arrival date. Online booking is available when your length of stay meets the minimum night requirements. If you would like a shorter stay than required online, please call or email our office, and we will be happy to accommodate your request whenever possible.
  • Payment Terms: Upon confirmation of the Vacation Rental Agreement, 25% of the base rent (and pet fee, if applicable), as well the full amount of travel insurance (if selected), is due. The balance of the base rent, cleaning fee, and TOT are due 90 days prior to arrival. If the Agreement is entered into less than 90 days prior to arrival, the total amount is due in full with the signed Agreement. Please inquire and/or review the Vacation Rental Agreement for additional information.  
  • Cancellation Policy: A cancellation must be in writing and received 90 days prior to the arrival date. Travel insurance is offered for purchase to alleviate any potential hardship. Please inquire and/or review the Vacation Rental Agreement for additional information and fees. 
  • Travel Insurance is offered through CSA/Generali Global Assistance. Insurance covers the cost of a cancellation or trip interruption due to unforeseen conditions such as illness or road closures. Coverage may be provided in certain circumstances for baggage delay, theft, medical & dental expenses, or emergency assistance. Please inquire for greater details and/or limitations.

Our stay in Lake Tahoe was great. The Art House was amazing and so very well stocked. It met all of our expectations. Tahoe Luxury properties were great to work with and while I was in Lake Tahoe, they were extremely responsive to all of my needs.

Highly recommended. We enjoyed a one week stay over July 4th holiday with our two kids and dog. The house gave us the right amount of space for a family of four. The interior space is in excellent condition, comfortably furnished and the deck gives you an additional living area. We spent many morning and evenings on the deck. The house and neighborhood are well suited for a dog. We met so many dog friendly neighbors while on walks. Our dog loved playing with the neighborhood dogs and exploring the nearby national park. The park is a few blocks away and your dog will love it! The location gives you easy access to the lake and ski resorts on the north shore. Even though it’s a short drive to all the best of Tahoe, the house offers space and privacy in quiet hill side neighborhood. We hope to stay in the house again or another one of their managed properties in the area. Accessing the house was seamless and property management was fast to respond to any inquiries.

Great property great service. if it’s snowing have them go shopping for you before you get there just in case. We were snowed in and if it wasn’t for Danni it’s could have been a disaster. She drove in the storm to deliver back up food praise god.
It Was Everything We Wanted!

The Art House was everything we wanted and so much more. The home is pretty close to most things in North Tahoe. A quick drive into town for some groceries/food/drinks. Also about a 30 minutes drive to Northstar Resort to hit the slopes. The beautiful kitchen had all the tools needed to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The views from the balcony were absolutely amazing. The living room was a perfectly cozy place to endure the 2 snow storms. We thought we would need to buy firewood but the home had an endless supply. The bedrooms were comfy. The hot tub was a favorite among our group. Overall this was probably one of the my favorite rentals ever not just because the home was awesome but the service we received from Tahoe Luxury Properties was superb. I called them a couple of times with questions and they were super helpful. Even after check out we lost a couple of items and again they went above and beyond to help us out. I can’t recommend The Art House or Tahoe Luxury Properties enough. Amazing stay and we can’t wait to go back again.
