  • The Village at Northstar offers dining, entertainment, spa services, and shopping options with numerous restaurants and shops, a movie theater, ice skating/roller skating rink, and more.

  • Guests receive one parking space in a secure, weather-protected underground garage with direct elevator access to the building, plus additional parking in the the main parking lot or in the garage when space is available. In the winter months, guests receive one garage parking space only. Overflow parking may be available the Ritz-Carlton valet (current rates). The garage will not accommodate oversize vehicles with racks, and Vail will not provide alternative parking. If you are concerned about Vail's parking policy, please call our office prior to booking this home for a winter stay.
  • Please Be Advised: Many highways, access roads and/or driveways are steep in Tahoe/Truckee and may be icy in the winter. To ensure your safety, it is critical that during November 1st - April 30th your brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires need to be properly inflated and the tread must be in excellent condition. Always carry tire chains, even if driving an AWD/4WD vehicle. Make sure the chains are the proper size for your tires and are in working order.   • Kindly Note: The TLUXP office is closed on New Year's Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate check-ins and check-outs on these dates. Thank you for understanding.

Payment Terms

  • Minimum Night Requirements vary by property, season and arrival date. Online booking is available when your length of stay meets the minimum night requirements. If you would like a shorter stay than required online, please call or email our office, and we will be happy to accommodate your request whenever possible.
  • Payment Terms: Upon confirmation of the Vacation Rental Agreement, 25% of the base rent (and pet fee, if applicable), as well the full amount of travel insurance (if selected), is due. The balance of the base rent, cleaning fee, and TOT are due 90 days prior to arrival. If the Agreement is entered into less than 90 days prior to arrival, the total amount is due in full with the signed Agreement. Please inquire and/or review the Vacation Rental Agreement for additional information.  
  • Cancellation Policy: A cancellation must be in writing and received 90 days prior to the arrival date. Travel insurance is offered for purchase to alleviate any potential hardship. Please inquire and/or review the Vacation Rental Agreement for additional information and fees. 
  • Travel Insurance is offered through CSA/Generali Global Assistance. Insurance covers the cost of a cancellation or trip interruption due to unforeseen conditions such as illness or road closures. Coverage may be provided in certain circumstances for baggage delay, theft, medical & dental expenses, or emergency assistance. Please inquire for greater details and/or limitations.

The location was excellent — right in Northstar Village, and a 1-minute walk to the mountain. The apartment was clean and spacious. We couldn’t figure out how to operate the TV and Tahoe Luxury Property helped us figure out the situation quickly and efficiently. We used the gym and the hot tub and enjoyed both. It was a great family vacation and we would stay there again.

Even Nicer Than Photos!

The space is even nicer than the pictures. A corner unit, it’s very spacious and light and bright. We stayed in the springtime so the village was quiet. You have to confirm when the summer season starts to know if all the restaurants will be open. But there were enough places open and we traveled to Tahoe city and Truckee to eat too. The gondola, located right next to the unit, only ran Saturday and Sunday (mountain biking was open Saturday and Sunday) but really we found it quiet enough that we didn’t notice it. The village has activities like roller skating and a little mini golf so it was perfect for our seven year old. And we took the gondola up to the Ritz to walk around on the mountain and eat lunch which was fun too. The place had everything we needed in the kitchen and the beds were great. The pool wasn’t as big as it looks in the pictures and the hot tub happened to be broken when we were there but it worked out fine.

The location of Big Horn #312 absolutely can't be beat. All the details are attended to, the place is spacious and spotless, logistics were super easy, view from the deck is fun during the day and tranquil in the evening. Northstar has everything you could want. We had a terrific family vacation -- first time skiing for the kids -- and we can't wait to go back!

I just came back from my stay at Big Horn #312 and I miss it already! The location is perfect. It is located right in the Village, close to restaurants, shopping, and the Gondola. We were able to snowboard right up to the building. The condo is beautifully furnished and spacious. We had plenty of room for our party of 6. We used the kitchen a few times, which was equipped with everything one might need. I had a few questions regarding my stay and TLUXP was so quick and helpful when responding. I plan on staying here again and would definitely recommend it to others!

This was our first time in Big Horn 312 and it is now our new favorite. Awesome view and every amenity you could ever need and then some. For reference, we have previously stayed in Iron Horse North and South, Catamount and Welks. I would highly recommend any property Tahoe Luxury Properties has available but you will really like this one. Great layout and lots of room. We had a group of 6 adults. The perfect weekend getaway location.

Big Horn 312 was perfect! It is a very spacious unit that was ideally situated for our family of 5. Furnishings and linens were very nice and kitchen was stocked with everything you would ever need. We loved everything about this unit and we hope to come back and enjoy it again! Northstar was an ideal spot to be in during the summer. There is so much to offer for the kids - roller skating, gem panning, bungee trampoline, swimming. It is also great to have so many options for food right in the village. The only downside is that many restaurants would be closed randomly or for private events which was limiting.

First time staying more than a night in the Tahoe area. Wanted a place spacious enough so family close by could visit for a few days. The size, layout was just perfect! Condo fully stocked with everything you could imagine, even tons of kid oriented toys and games. We could not have asked for a more beautiful place to stay and hope to come back very soon!!

Big Horn 312 was great! We had two families with 4 little kids, and the place was spacious and great for all of us. The location is amazing. The proximity to the lifts and the village was a dream come true. So easy to come on off the mountain. The place was clean and well laid out and a total bonus was the hallway with all kinds of hooks and cubbies to put all of our gear. We will most definitely come back and stay in Big Horn 312!! Thanks for a great weekend.
