• Guests receive one parking space in a secure, weather-protected underground garage with direct elevator access to the building, plus additional parking in the the main parking lot or in the garage when space is available. In the winter months, guests receive one garage parking space only. Overflow parking may be available the Ritz-Carlton valet (current rates). The garage will not accommodate oversize vehicles with racks, and Vail will not provide alternative parking. If you are concerned about Vail's parking policy, please call our office prior to booking this home for a winter stay.
• Please Be Advised: Many highways, access roads and/or driveways are steep in Tahoe/Truckee and may be icy in the winter. To ensure your safety, it is critical that during November 1st - April 30th your brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires need to be properly inflated and the tread must be in excellent condition. Always carry tire chains, even if driving an AWD/4WD vehicle. Make sure the chains are the proper size for your tires and are in working order.
