Nowhere does 4th of July celebrations better than Lake Tahoe. With so many events to choose from, you can celebrate Independence in style. 

 Friday, July 3 

Incline Village Activities

  • 8am-10am: Start your day with a Free Firehouse Breakfast 2015 at the Main Firehouse in Incline Village
  • 10am: Then bring the family down to the Incline Village Kids Parade. The parade goes through downtown Incline Village on State Route 28 with a big display of kids, costumes and fun! 
  • 11am-9pm: Day on the Village Green Music Festival 2015 at the Village Green, featuring Luke Stevenson, Ike & Martin, Foreverland, Grand Funk Railroad, and Music by Request

Beer Fest & Bluegrass

3pm-7pm. Enjoy craft beer from dozens of local breweries and live music by The McCoy Tyler Band and Grant Farm in the Village at Northstar.The festival will include beer tastings from thirty-two breweries, featured on the Village Overlook, and guests who purchase a ticket will receive a commemorative pint glass and be able to sample all the different beers. There will also be non-alcoholic beverages and a tasty barbecue available for purchase, face painting and balloon twisting for the little ones, as well as an area on the Village Rink where you can sit and dance to the live music. $38 day-of includes commemorative pint glass and tastings ($30 advance)

Kings Beach Fireworks & Beach Party

4pm-10pm. The July 3rd Fireworks & Beach Party is held at the North Tahoe Event Center on the beach at Kings Beach State Recreation Area with food vendors, a beer, wine and mixed drink garden, free watermelon eating, sand castle building and patriotic costume contests, games, music, fireworks at 9:30 p.m., glow toys, souvenirs and more. Tahoe Donner Summer Concert on the Green

5pm-9pm. Tahoe Donner will recreate the iconic eras of Beatles and Stones history with two bands performing at this summer’s Concert on the Green. Britain’s Finest, bringing the complete Beatles experience to Tahoe Donner, and Glimmer Twins, a Rolling Stones tribute band. The event will take place at the Tahoe Donner Driving Range $35 Adults, $15 Ages 7-12, Free 6 & Under. Stay nearby.

 Saturday, July 4 

Truckee Events

  • 9:30am-11:30am: Firecracker Mile This one-mile, gravity fed, race is a fun event for all ages & abilities.
  • 10am-11am: Fourth of July Parade: Enjoy an All-American parade that travels down Donner Pass Road starting at the Truckee High School through and running all the way through historic downtown Truckee.
  • 9:30pm: Truckee Fireworks & Beach Party. Join the tradition with fireworks at Donner Lake and a Beach Party at West End Beach opened to residents and homeowners featuring music, games, barbecue and more. The spectacular fireworks show starts at 9:30pm. Tickets cost $6.00 for ages one to adult and are reserved for residents and homeowners. Visitors can still enjoy the fireworks from many locations around Donner Lake.

Incline Village Fireworks

8pm: The Reno Philharmonic in collaboration with the Red, White and Tahoe Blue community are pleased to present a special concert event at The Village Green. Incline beaches are open to residents and guests only until 10pm on July 4th — for anyone who does not have a beach pass, the Reno Philharmonic Concert is the place to be for an amazing fireworks viewing experience. Featuring celebrated patriotic and classical favorites and concluding with a thrilling musically choreographed fireworks extravaganza, this is sure to be the event of the year!

Doors open at 6:00pm. The performance is scheduled to begin at 8pm and will have limited VIP seating available. Book early as this event will surely sell out.

General Admission – $60 Advance, $75 at the door, VIP – $125 Advance, $150 at the door (based on availability) Includes reserved seating and access to VIP tent with complementary premium beverage service and dessert. Tahoe City Beach Bash & Fireworks at Common's Beach

All day: 2015 marks the 70th year and is going to be the BIGGEST show yet. It's a Bell Bottom Beach Bash with activities for all ages including hula hoops, beach balls and cornhole. Performances by Penney the Clown and Kip Yager. Music all day and all through the fireworks with music by DJ Chapin. Food vendors including Moe's, A Pop Above popcorn, and Cheri's hand-dipped ice cream. Merchandise for sale on the street and at the beach. Stay nearby.

West Shore Cafe Party

11am: The West Shore Cafe will host an afternoon of music by Ike & Martin (11am-4pm), lawn games and complimentary smores from 8:30-9pm. Stay nearby.
