Brewmaster Dinner Series at Northstar - Sept 2, 5pm-7:30pm

Enjoy a 5-course seasonally inspired dishes with mouth–watering craft beers. Guests will enjoy the delicious pairings al fresco in the Tahoe fresh air on the deck of Martis Valley Grille, which overlooks the picturesque Martis Valley. 27th Annual Foam Fest at Squaw Valley - Sept 3, 2pm-6pm

At the KT Base Bar outdoor sun deck, enjoy unlimited tastings from over 40 craft breweries, plus amazing live music from The Mother Hips, Jenni Charles & Jesse Dunn, with all proceeds benefiting Achieve Tahoe. Tickets are $30 advance / $35 door. Kids under 12 free. $10 donation (music only, no beer)

The 28th Annual Alpen Wine Fest at Squaw Valley - Sept 4, 2pm-5pm

Spend the afternoon wine tasting and enjoy live music, a silent auction and raffle. Entry into the event is a $40 advance/ $50 day of donation to Can Do MS, a foundation providing wellness and education for people with Multiple Sclerosis. With the donation, attendees receive a crystal souvenir wine glass and tastings from over 40 vineyards.

Farm to Peak Series Dinner at Homewood Mountain Resort - Sept 4, 3:30pm

Enjoy mountaintop outdoor dining with a breathtaking view of Lake Tahoe.Sip on a glass of champagne as you take the chairlift to the top of Homewood Mountain, then dine on exquisite seasonal cuisine. Guests will experience an exclusive dinner designed by West Shore Cafe's Chef de Cuisine, Ben Deinken that incorporates the freshest seasonal ingredients. Upon arriving at the top of the mountain guests will enjoy a happy hour including wine or beer and displayed appetizers. Once seated the Chef's of the West Shore Cafe will present their four course meal as you enjoy the view. $150

Farm to Table Dinner at Squaw Valley - Sept 4, 6pm

A mouthwatering, sustainably sourced dinner and wine paring, served on KT Base Bar, an outdoor sun deck, in true Squaw Valley style. Executive Chef Tiffany Swan has partnered with the Tahoe Food Hub to serve a unique three-course family style dinner using the freshest food around. Adult $54, Child $29, 3 and under: Free

Guitar Strings vs Chicken Wings at Squaw Valley - Sept 9, 5pm-9:30pm

6 restaurants and 5 bands will go head-to-head in The Village at Squaw Valley to benefit the Tahoe Institute for Natural Science (TINS). Each restaurant will be cooking their own signature recipes for spicy, flavor-packed chicken wings, and joining forces with the region’s best bands to crank the contest to the max. Attendees will receive tokens at the entrance allowing them to place votes for their favorite wings and favorite band. Entry $5. Wings: 4 for $5

31st Annual Lake Tahoe Autumn Food & Wine Fest at Northstar - Sept 9-11

Celebrate the 31st anniversary of Lake Tahoe’s most prestigious food, wine, spirit and brew festival in the outdoor splendor of Northstar California Resort. Celebrity Chef’s hands-on cooking demonstrations, Farm to Tahoe dinner, winemaker luncheons and dinners, food and wine seminars, mixology . . . . all topped off with the Sunday Culinary Competition and Grand Tasting. Along with the Lake Tahoe Autumn Food and Wine events, there will be several additional Fall Culinary Adventures like local Farmer’s Markets, Alpen Wine Festival at Squaw Valley, Farm to Peak Dinner at Homewood, Guitar Strings and Chicken Wings at Squaw Valley, and the Thunderbird Lodge Winemaker Dinner. Farm Truck Food Fair in Truckee - Sept 15, 4:30pm-8:30pm

The Tahoe Food Hub and Granite Chief are hosting the 2nd annual Farm Truck Food Fair in the parking lot of Granite Chief Ski & Mountain Shop in Truckee. The event is a fundraiser for Tahoe Food Hub's Farm to Market program that works to build a network of local farms to supply food to North Lake Tahoe. Farm Truck Food Fair will feature a food court of food trucks to help celebrate local food and farmers. All food trucks will be serving food sourced from the Tahoe Food Hub and its small, family farms, all located within 150 miles. Dishing out the local tastes will be Squaw's Mountain Roots Food Truck, Full Belly Deli, The Souper Wagon, and Electric Blue Elephant (vegetarian options will be available). Local beers and wine will be available with proceeds benefiting the Tahoe Food Hub. Purchase a $15 event pass in advance (also available at the door). The pass includes two raffle tickets, a drink token, and one small food plate from a food truck of your choice. For just $5 more, become a Hubster and a member of the Tahoe Food Hub. Entry is otherwise FREE but a $5 suggested donation is requested.

Oktoberfest at Squaw Valley - Sept 24, 2pm-6pm

This annual event will transform the Village at Squaw Valley into a miniature Bavaria complete with authentic German beer and food, Bavarian music, the ever-popular Oktoberfest Games and plenty of family fun. FREE
