Celebrate in style. Here are some uniquely Tahoe ways to ring in the New Year! 

Squaw Valley

Perfect for families, a Torchlight Parade will take place at Squaw Valley at 6:30pm followed by fireworks at 7pm. The best viewing location is at the KT Base Bar.

Squaw Valley New Years Eve Party: Squaw Valley's Olympic House will host live music and DJs from 9pm-2am. Five bars will be open. $10 at the Door. This is a 21+ event. 

A free Squaw shuttle will run until 2am with extra busses operating on this route. For more information check the North Tahoe shuttle schedule.

Northstar California

The annual Fire & Ice New Year’s Celebration is fun  for all ages. There will be a DJ, live music by Petty Theft -San Francisco Tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, a spectacular Fireworks show, s’mores, drink specials, face painting, shopping, dining, ice skating and more!

Tavern 6330’ will be open on December 31st until 1:00 am with drink and appetizer specials and a live DJ starting at 9:00 pm.

The Villager Candle Shop will host their annual New Year's Eve Party at their location in The Village. Cost is $30.00 per person and includes either making a candle, painting a piece of pottery, making a mosaic or stuffing a teddy bear. They will provide a kid friendly buffet (moms and dads will like it too!). 6pm-10pm. Reservations Recommended. 530-562-8884 

Resort At Squaw Creek

The Resort at Squaw Creak New Year's Eve Grand Celebration and Dinner Combining a decadent gourmet buffet dinner, entertainment, live band, dancing, party favors, and a champagne toast, the Grand Celebration is the ultimate way to ring in the New Year in Lake Tahoe. Crystal Bay Casino 

Dance in the new year with Jackie Greene at the Crystal Bay Casino. After Party with the Martin Sexton Band. 10pm. $45 General Admission. $65 VIP (includes Pre-Party in the upstairs ballroom, and a Meet & Greet with Jackie Greene band from 8:30-9:30pm). The booth seats are sold out. 

West Shore Cafe

This first-class formal event on the shores of Lake Tahoe includes: bubbly, noise makers and of course, a carefully prepared menu. Start the celebration off with display appetizers and drinks from 8-10pm.  Select a reservation time between 8pm and 10pm to be seated for your four course meal.  Enjoy live music by Danny Sturtevant during dinner, and dance to a DJ after the meal.  When the hour hits, all guests will toast and celebrate with party favors galore.  This event is for adults 21+ only and is $95 per person.
