S’more Saturdays: Kings Beach-December 15-March 9 (once per month)

Kings Beach is always a great place to shop and dine, but during one Saturday per month, you get s’more when you shop or dine at participating retailers and restaurants. Retailers and eateries will be giving away samples, gifts, and more to Saturday shoppers. The day ends with complimentary s’mores at Las Panchitas at their outdoor heated patio, where you can enjoy views of Lake Tahoe and downtown Kings Beach after a busy day. Stay nearby.

Northstar

Every day at 3:30pm, Northstar offers complimentary s’mores in the Village. Gather with family and friends around the warming fire pits and enjoy this aprés tradition. Their outdoor cabanas with comfortable seating and fire pits are located in the heart of the Northstar Village, around the skating rink. Rent a pair of skates or enjoy some hot cocoa rink-side and roast up a sweet treat. Stay nearby.

West Shore Cafe

Looking for s’more Lake Tahoe views? Get your snack with a view at the West Shore Café in Homewood. Located just across from Homewood Mountain Resort, the West Shore Café is situated on the shores of Lake Tahoe and offers panoramic vistas from the snowy west shore. Enjoy a complimentary aprés-ski s’more 4-4:30pm Fridays-Mondays and daily during holiday periods.The lakeside fire pits will offer an unbeatable backdrop to one of Tahoe’s favorite treats. Marshmology at The Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe

Gather around the fire pits at The Ritz-Carlton  mountainside at Northstar daily during the ski season for an educational and truly unique s’more experience. Join Ritz-Carlton chefs as they explain the history and origins of the s’more, and indulge in unique flavor combinations crafted by the Executive Chef and his staff. Create your own concoction with gourmet chocolate and house-made marshmallows at The Ritz’s mountainside fire pits. Stay nearby.

Don’t want to brave the elements? Order a s’more kit for $10 from Bar of America and enjoy s’mores with all of the fixings, which you make at your table over your very own personal roasting fire. Bar of America is conveniently located in downtown Truckee, perfect for aprés or just to watch the snow fall accompanied by live music, good food, and delicious cocktails. Stay nearby.

Granlibakken $$

Hit the beginner slopes or the sledding hill at Granlibakken Tahoe in Tahoe City, and fuel up with a classic s’more. S’more kits are $5.00, and the slopeside fire pits are fired up from 2-4:30pm Fridays-Mondays, and daily during holiday periods. Stay nearby.
