No Tahoe vacation is complete without a romantic dinner with that special someone. Treat yourself to date night at one of our favorite Lake Tahoe restaurants and enjoy a special evening in our mountain paradise. 

Jake's On The Lake - A wonderful option located in beautiful Tahoe City. As the name would suggest this eatery is perched right on the edge of Big Blue. Your romantic dinner at “Jake’s” will be dominated by views of Lake Tahoe and a picturesque marina. The open and airy dining area is a wonderful spot to enjoy your dinner date. Not to be overlooked is the fantastic menu that includes a substantial amount of delectable seafood described as Californian cuisine with Hawaiian inspiration. Some of the local favorites include the Quinoa Salad as well as the Pan Seared Sea Bass. Come back in the summer and enjoy one of the best porch/patio seating areas that Tahoe has to offer.

Wolfdale's  - Situated in Tahoe City in the northwest corner of the lake, Wolfdale’s Cusine Unique is a no-brainer for a romantic evening. This long-running high-end restaurant has an obvious asian influence with stunning food presentation on unique ceramic dishes. The only thing more beautiful than the presentation of this exquisite fare is the large windows offering a stunning lake view. This eatery is also known for its unique martini and cocktail menu. Try not to let the lakeview distract you from that special someone you are dining with. This will surely be a meal to remember. In the summer, the outdoor creates an unforgettable experience. Important: Wolfdale’s is closed on Tuesdays.

Gar Woods Grill & Pier  - This Carnelian Bay restaurant is a fantastic choice for a special evening with a loved one. This restaurant features “California fare” with excellent seafood. Meat lovers will enjoy the delectable prime rib served with asparagus and mushrooms. Gar Woods is known for their tremendous cocktails named with some not-so-subtle innuendo. After your memorable dinner take a walk out onto the long pier that juts out into Big Blue. Curious about the name Gar Woods? This eatery is named after Garfield Woods, a famous name in the world of boat racing. Carnelian Bay was a hot spot for boat racing in the 30’s and 40’s.

Lone Eagle Grill  - Head on over to the Lone Eagle Grill in Incline Village for an unforgettable and romantic meal with a gorgeous view. Wine lovers will appreciate this spot that boasts a mind-boggling wine list. The diverse menu is sure to please anyone and everyone. This newly renovated, exclusive, restaurant offers enormous windows to gaze out at our beautiful lake. The open kitchen lets you watch the staff work their magic. Atmosphere is the name of the game with this joint and the high, vaulted, ceiling paired with a fireplace creates an unforgettable feel. If you so happen to stumble across the Lone Eagle Grill on a warm day, have a seat in one of the Adirondack chairs out back and take in the lake view. On a cool night, enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail around the firepit.

Cottonwood Restaurant and Bar - Enjoy an intimate dinner for two at Cottonwood in Truckee. This is a truly special restaurant that occupies a ski warming hut that served as an early ski lodge. This rustic feeling structure features a gorgeous view of downtown Truckee and houses a wonderful bar and restaurant. The well thought out menu ticks all of the boxes. Music lovers can find live artists playing in the Cottonwood on Thursday and Friday evenings. Important: Cottonwood is closed on Mondays.
