Forever Edgewood - Lakeview

Forever Edgewood is a beautiful house. We visited with 5 adults and 2 kids, and the layout is super comfortable. The kids stayed in the top floor, which has a video game room off the side, and the adults used the 3 primary bedrooms below. The big kitchen and dining table made it easy for group dinners, and the living room was comfortable for most of us to get together to unwind and watch TV. The hot tub on the back deck feels like it's almost brand new (much nicer than other rental hot tubs) - and it's just a few steps from the back door, so super easy, even in the snow! I would definitely recommend this house for groups of 6-8, and would consider staying there again.

Well appointed with baking flour, sugar etc as well as organized drawers for pots/pans, and all necessary items for cooking at home. Amazing and large hot tub just off the back sliding glass door, and wonderful 2 person jet tub and 2 head/2 person shower in master bath. Large garage, nice gas fireplace, and great heater that warmed up fast when we needed it! Beautiful lake views and is very close to Tahoe City. Highly recommend and one of if not the nicest winter rental we've stayed at in Dollar Point to date!

A perfect get-away in a beautiful vacation home! The house was spotless and I loved the decor in each and every room. A great layout with picturesque views-loved the large deck in the front of the house with the beautiful views of Lake Tahoe and the extra large hot tub on the back deck. I can't wait to return, I would love to revisit every season!

This house exceeded my expectations. There were six adults and two pre-teens in our group, and we had plenty of room. The house layout worked well for our group. We particularly enjoyed the two large decks on either side of the house and the beautiful view of Lake Tahoe. The location is great, as it takes just minutes to drive to either Tahoe City or Kings Beach.

We loved the balcony of snow where our kids could play and we, the parents, could watch them from the warm living room while admiring the view of the lake. Loved the tankless water heater so that we knew some families wouldn’t be left with cold showers. The humongous hot tub gave us a wonderful view of the expansive backyard. Our only little complaint was how hot the mid-level rooms would get while the upper two floors were really cold. Otherwise, we enjoyed the location and home. Thank you for hosting.

This was a luxurious home in a great location. We stayed here to ski at Squaw Valley. It was a convenient drive. The house was better than expected. There was tons of snow while we were there, and Tahoe Luxury Properties had a contractor that shoveled feet of snow off of all of the porches. We couldn't have used the hot tub without this work. The hot tub was very large. The kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of firewood onsite for burning in the fireplace.

We had a great time and loved the house. So comfortable and beautiful and super clean. The beds and bedding were like a five star hotel. The view of the lake was great. Loved waking up and having coffee on the deck looking at the lake. The kitchen had everything you can imagine. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Lake Tahoe. Definitely recommend. Best home rental we have ever had!

Forever Edgewood will be a Forever Favorite of ours! We have been to Lake Tahoe many times but have never enjoyed such a luxurious experience as the one we had in this beautiful Dollar Point home. The location of Dollar Point is perfect for enjoying the beauty of Lake Tahoe as well as the convenience of shops and restaurants in Tahoe City. We enjoyed having our coffee on the deck each morning looking at the lake and returning home to the barbecue and hot tub on the back deck. The house is so well furnished you feel immediately at home and relaxed the minute you walk in the door. The beds are so comfortable and furnished with luxurious bed linens that each night's sleep was heavenly. The three bedrooms and three baths makes sharing the space with other couples easy. Although we didn't bring our children, the sleeping loft would be really fun for kids. All in all, this was a fabulous experience and one that I hope to repeat again soon. We hope to return to Forever Edgewood again!

Forever Edgewood was a very comfortable home for our group of 4 adults. The three main bedrooms were spacious and had very comfortable beds. We didn't use the top floor that had a den and two small beds, but it would work well if you have children or teenagers in your group. Half of the garage was available for our use, which we appreciated. The kitchen was beautiful with nice appliances and the home is well stocked. We had the master bedroom and slept very well each night in the comfortable king sized bed. The huge master shower with two shower heads was a big plus. Our only complaint was that the dishwasher wasn't working. We called Tahoe Luxury Properties about it on our first morning. They sent a handyman over who did an inadequate job of inspecting the dishwasher and he concluded everything was working fine. It was not. We knew the handyman was wrong because the dishwasher quit a few minutes into the cycle and produced an error code. (An internet search revealed it was a drainage hose issue). Maybe it is hard to get someone to service appliances on the same day in Tahoe, but Tahoe Luxury Properties never got it fixed while we were there, and we stayed 3 nights. To their credit, they told us not to worry about the dishes and they would have their housekeepers hand wash them. If you are interested in this house, I would suggest that you confirm with Tahoe Luxury Properties that the dishwasher was fixed, and that they fixed the drainage problem in the kitchen sink. I think it was all related. Anyway, this is a very beautiful, comfortable house, and we would definitely want to stay here again, as long as all the appliances are working. 

Dollar Point is certainly one of the premier locations on the lake and Forever Edgewood is located in a premier spot within Dollar Point with a view of the lake easy walking distance to the beach and hiking trails, but best of all it's super quiet. You are within 1-2 miles of excellent restaurants, shopping and activities but feel like you're tucked away in a mountain hideaway. In addition to the front and back decks which offer plenty of space for enjoying the views and mountain air and/or entertaining, there's a wonderful large hot tub. Fully refurbished with beautiful furniture and decorations, the owners have paid attention to every detail. Of particular note is having 3 full baths rather than just 2 or 2 1/2, and the third floor upstairs bedroom and loft are perfect for children. Whether you plan to ski or relax, this beautiful home will not disappoint. It's fast becoming a family favorite.

Shear perfection! We stayed at Forever Edgewood for a reunion in early November and had a fabulous time. Not only is it in a perfect location with a view of the lake and hiking and skiing nearby, but the home itself is absolutely beautiful. The property is completely renovated and every attention to detail has been made. From the quality of the linens to the hot tub in the "woods", this home is perfect. I would recommend it to anyone planning a trip any time of year to Tahoe. I can't wait to return!

Had the pleasure of staying here in early autumn. This beautiful home lacks nothing. It is in a perfect location with beautiful views of the lake. Every Tahoe activity is either a short walk or quick drive away. The home has been beautifully updated with the finest appointments and materials. All accessories; linens , pots and pans, utensils, bar ware are of the highest quality. Nothing is lacking. The bedrooms are large and the beds comfortable and cozy. The "open concept" living, dining, kitchen area is beautiful, welcoming and practical. Sipping wine on the front porch, overlooking the lake cannot be beat. Looking forward to returning.
