Set on a pristine stretch of shore at Rubicon Bay, Heavenly View lakefront vacation rental truly takes one's breath away. The majestic waters of Lake Tahoe can be seen from nearly every room in this spectacular lakefront home. The walls are beautifully clad in fir by a master woodworker. The glass doors open up in the dining and living areas, allowing for a wonderful indoor/outdoor transition.
This is one of only very few lakefront homes with air conditioning throughout the entire home. Common areas and bedrooms are individually zoned.
The kitchen features Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, custom walnut cabinetry, a large porcelain farm sink and a wet bar. The bedrooms have custom bedding, upscale linens, and powered blackout shades. The professional interior design incorporates distinctive finishes that enhance the setting at every turn. The Lutron lighting system allows for use of preselected lighting scenes as well as individual control and dimming of all lights and shades throughout the home. The lakeview living room has extra deep RH leather sofas, fur blankets, lots of board games, shuffleboard and a wood burning fireplace. While the guest house is only available for stays of 31 days or longer, the gym inside of the guest house is accessible for all rentals. It has television, a Peloton, treadmill, multigym, kettle bells, free weights, bench, Bosu, yoga blocks and yoga mats.
Outside there are several areas to enjoy, including the patio complete with lakeview hot tub and firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. Around the corner is another area complete with RH sofas and Lava Heat Italian patio heaters. The spacious lawn has chaise lounges and a Roman Arc hammock overlooking the lake. Additional lounge chairs can be found on the private beach, one of the few lakefront homes with a soft, sandy beach. The brand-new pier was built in 2022 and is shared with only one other home. With a pierhead width of 15', it is one of the widest private use piers on the lake, and is flanked by two catwalks that will be adjusted to the perfect height before your stay. In the winter, you’re only a 10-minute drive from skiing at Homewood, and you can enjoy the peaceful seclusion of the west shore with the comfort of knowing that there is a whole house generator if the power goes out. Heavenly View is a delightful combination of classic Old Tahoe with thoroughly modern conveniences; truly a heavenly experience.

Outdoor Furniture, BBQ Grills & Fire Pits
Patio furniture is available from Memorial Day Weekend through early fall (weather permitting). Furniture is stored during winter months to prevent damage.
Most homes have gas BBQs available year-round. Please inquire if this is an essential amenity for your winter stay. Charcoal grills, wood-burning fire pits, and open flames are strictly prohibited.
On Red Flag Warning days (high fire risk), the use of gas BBQs and fire pits are strictly prohibited. It is Renter's responsibility to know if a red flag warning has been issued. Stay informed by tuning into 1630 AM radio; following the North Tahoe Fire Protection District on Facebook or Twitter (X); checking signage outside district fire stations; reviewing the National Weather Service forecast. See here.
Bear Safety
Black bears are active in both Lake Tahoe and Truckee. Improper food storage can lead to serious property damage and safety issues. Do not leave food, trash, or scented items outdoors or in your vehicle. Always lock the doors and windows of the home and your car when unattended. Intentionally leaving food out for bears is illegal. Review our Bear Aware Addendum for more information on staying safe and protecting our local wildlife.
Boating: Buoys & Piers
If your rental includes buoy or pier access, please refer to the Buoy, Mooring Line, and Pier Addendum for full details.
Piers are for pick-up/drop-off only (max 30 minutes). Never leave boats unattended or anchored without supervision.
Lake Tahoe water levels varying depending on seasonal snowfall, affecting the depth for safe pier access.
Check weather conditions before venturing out and be advised that Lake Tahoe weather can change quickly.
Winter Driving (Nov 1st – April 30th)
Driving in the snow-covered mountains of California and Nevada can be both enjoyable and occasionally challenging. Roads and driveways may be steep or icy, and conditions can change quickly. To ensure safe and smooth travel, the California Highway Patrol offers valuable winter driving tips. You can find more information from the CHP here. Make sure your vehicle is winter-ready, with brakes, tires, wipers, and the heater all in top condition. All vehicles, including AWD/4WD, should carry properly-sized tire chains.
