As a community with over 60% of our employment in the leisure industry, many businesses are feeling the acute impact of the Shelter in Place directive, leaving many locals in dire circumstances. The goal of this fund is to alleviate the immediate strain many are facing.

In coordination with our field team and cleaners, we have implemented extra sanitization measures ensuring all homes are disinfected before each check-in, with extra attention to door knobs, remotes, handles, tables, hard-backed chairs, toilets, sinks, and light switches.
The Camp Fire was the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California history to date. The fire caused at least 86 civilian fatalities, injured 12 civilians and 5 firefighters, covered an area of 153,336 acres, and destroyed 18,804 structures, with most of the damage occurring within the first four hours. Northern California continues to mourn while facing clean-up projects and rebuilding that may take years.

It was heartbreaking to watch this natural disaster so close to home. As displaced families fled to Tahoe to avoid the dangerously smoke-filled air, we decided to make a sizable donation to bring relief to the victims and aid in rebuilding the communities.
