The smoke filled skies are finally starting to clear up.  For awhile you could not even see South Lake due to smoke over the lake but as of Tuesday you could see across the lake again. Conditions can change throughout the day.

Fun things to do this weekend:

Friday, July 18th-Full Moon showing of A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival. This is a "must do" while you are in Tahoe or if you've never been. I went last weekend and enjoy A Midsummer Night's dream. We brought some blankets and food and wine. I recommend either paying for a seat or bringing a low back chair as the performance is close to 2.5 hours. Chairs are also available for rent.

Saturday, July 19th and Sunday, July 20th-7th Annual Art, Wine and Music Festival in the Village at Squaw Valley. 10am-6pm. The village will burst with color, tastes, and sound as fine artists, craftmakers, performers and musicians come to participate in the fun celebration of art and music. Ivan Nejara Trio and Emily Tessmer scheduled to perform.

Sunday, July 20th 4-7pm. Free Concerts at Commons Beach, Tahoe City. This week's free concert is School of Rock Allstars. The free concerts in the park are amazing and fun for the entire family! Feel free to bring blankets, low-back chairs, food and drinks. There is a large play structure for the kids and a large sandy beach along the lake.

Have a nice weekend and please feel free to call us for recommendations around the area. Our staff are all locals and love to share their knowledge of Tahoe!
