Incline Village

June 30-July 4: Red, White, and Tahoe Blue Celebration
The community of Incline Village will take it to the streets in this exciting 11th annual celebration, which includes more than 20 events! There’s the annual Veterans’ recognition, pancake breakfast, parade, rubber duck races, ice cream eating contest, and more. The Community Fair will also return to the Village Green, with booths, music, and food for the whole family. Plus, a grand finale fireworks display created specially for Incline Village is accompanied by soundtrack. Stay nearby

Tahoe City

July 1: Jimmy Leslie’s Guitarfish Family Band at Commons Beach
The yearly Tahoe City summer music series is back, presenting music ranging from bluegrass and southern rock to afro-samba-funk, alternative rock, and more, over 12 weeks. Jimmy Leslie is known for “dropping a funk and pop mix that is all his own.” Hang out on the beach and hear music along with scenic views of Lake Tahoe. 

July 4: Tahoe City’s Dyno-mite Big Band 4th of July Fireworks Show
This will be the 73rd edition of Tahoe City’s dazzling display. Festivities begin with the sounds of upbeat DJs, with an opportunity to shop for swag commemorating the show, and to donate to the fire boots to keep this free show happening! Enjoy the lake views, with colorful fireworks above, at dusk. Stay nearby

Kings Beach

July 3: 39th Annual Kings Beach Fireworks and Beach Party
The celebration starts July 3 at one of Tahoe’s favorites, Kings Beach, kicking off festivities in the sun and the cool water for those excited for the Fourth to come! In the evening, there’s the Beach Party at nearby North Tahoe Event Center. Attendees will enjoy food, live music, and a beer garden, topped off by a stunning fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. Stay nearby 

Squaw Valley

July 3:  Bluesdays at Squaw
This summer marks the 10th annual summer concert series featuring acclaimed blues musicians, great food, and a blues bar with beer, wine, and spirits. On July 3, Curtis Salgado serenades listeners with triumphant, blues-soaked R&B. Stay nearby

Truckee

July 4: The Firecracker Mile, Truckee Parade, and Fireworks over Donner Lake
The firecracker mile is a long-standing Truckee tradition, allowing runners and families to get their sweat on before the holiday festivities. This one-mile, all downhill run follows the parade route, where thousands of spectators cheer on runners in festive costumes. Following the run, the parade will commence. In the evening, there will be a fireworks show over Donner Lake. West End Beach viewing is available to residents only with tickets required. If you are a guest, you will want to plan other viewing options. The free piers on Donner Lake tend to be filled all day and all night long. Stay nearby

July 6-7: 8th Annual Summer Concert on the Green
Tahoe Donner’s yearly event returns, featuring two nights of performances by top tribute bands. The Big Jangle Band is a tribute to Tom Petty, and Pop Fiction is Northern California’s top party band, covering hits from the 70s through 2000s. Stay nearby

July 7: Beerfest & Bluegrass Festival at Northstar
This year’s 12th annual event encompasses a full weekend of mountain views, award winning bluegrass, and great beer. Festivities include beer and craft soda sampling, live music, a brewmaster dinner, and a beer run called Run The Brewery, and a summit hike coupled with yoga, called Mountaintop Mantra. Stay nearby
