In Truckee, there’s music in the park Wednesdays and at Truckee Thursdays, packed with craft booths, food trucks, and drink options. In Kings Beach, check out Music on the Beach Fridays, and head on down to Concerts on Commons Beach in Tahoe City to hear more music on Sundays. See the full schedule and details here.

Free Yoga at Squaw

All levels are welcome and complimentary yoga mats are available.

Free Movies on the Beach

Free Walking Tours

Enjoy free walking tours of North Lake and Truckee through Mountain Town Tours. Each are guided and packed with historical information. Walk through Tahoe City over the course of 1 mile and about 1.5 hours hearing the history of this small lakeside town, or take the Waterfront Tahoe City Tour which details 150 years of history of Lake Tahoe. This tour is about 3/4 mile and takes 1.5 hours. Or, head to Truckee for the 3/4 mile, 1.5 hour guided tour of historic downtown, with its roots in railroad, lumber mills, and ice harvesting, to give a sneak peak. Learn how Truckee’s architecture once served the industry, but developed throughout history and is now inhabited by shops today.
