Steve joined Tahoe Luxury Properties in July 2018 as our Financial Controller. Having worked in the accounting department at Tahoe Mountain Lodging as well as Granite Peak Management, Steve brings a wealth of experience in to the role. Steve earned an Associates Degree in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans and a second degree from Sacramento State, studying accounting, before moving to Lake Tahoe. As the classic story goes, Steve moved to Tahoe for a winter in 1996 and remains here today.
Your perfect Tahoe summer day? Either a mountain/road bike trek, paddleboard or hike followed by an afternoon/evening on the boat with the kids and friends wake/skate surfing and tubing
If it snows 2 feet overnight, what is your ideal way to spend the day? Get to Alpine Meadows early, breakfast at Treats Bakery, lap the mountain for a few hours and head home for a soak in the hot tub
What is the next toy on your purchase list? Its time for an upgraded paddleboard
Favorite Tahoe trail? Flume Trail
Favorite Tahoe beach? When the kids where young: Speedboat Beach, when the water levels were down and they could climb around on the rocks and swim through the rock caves
What was your first concert? Midnight Oil in Austin
What is your dream vacation? A month of hopping around Europe and staying in the offbeat tiny villages and towns to experience the true cultures of the area
